What I Have Learned
My presentation is going pretty good so far but I am a little behind on the information. I am going to talk about the three layers of skin and what they do. The three types of layers are epidermis, dermis and hypodermis. They absorb nutrients in the skin and protect the skin from the weather. I am having a difficult time trying to relate my topic and the controversial issue.

Cassidy, maybe you could look for some studies where animals were hurt by some of the testing done on them. What chemicals are in these products that could harm either the animal skin or human skin? What do we use those products for?

Many of the animals that are tested on are badly injured or are killed afterwards. Only a fraction of animals are given pain relief. I think that there is formaldehyde in these cosmetics that causes irritation to the skin for humans in animals.
